Do I have to pay?
Fortunately, yes. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to hold this trip in the
first place! But we don't want to prevent people from coming because of
financial reasons. If you have special circumstances read the question below regarding financial assistance.
Why is it so expensive?!
Actually, we've done our best to cut down costs to a bare minimum. Nobody
is profiting out of this (except for the attendees' profit of nourishing
the soul, heart and mind). Transportation rentals, hotel costs, entrance
ticket fees, food and the sort all add up to the total cost. Even if you
were to do this on your own you'd end up paying more, since we are getting
pretty good group discounts.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes, alhamdulillah. But it is very limited, so if you have special circumstances
make sure to shoot us an email with the situation
and we'll work with it on a case-by-case basis.
I heard you mention food... so you're going to feed us right?
Definitely! We're going to cover most of the meals for the weekend, but
we also want everyone to have the freedom of tasting the exotic foods
of smalltown California at their leisure. So for a couple of meals when
we're in town, it's on you. But for the rest of the meals we got you covered.
I don't want to ride a train, I want to go skydiving!
