"And on the earth are signs for those of assured faith. And also in your own selves: Will you not then see?" (Quran 51:20-21)

Contemplation upon the creation of Allah (glorified be He) and upon the history of those before us is a sunnah that we have forgotten. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) spent numerous days and nights in the cave of hira'a contemplating the countless signs in the heavens and earth that Allah has given us so that we may return to Him.

But worry not! By the grace of Allah, the brothers and sisters at MAS Youth have put together a program to revive this forgotten sunnah of the Prophet.

All Aboard the RIDE!

Spend a weekend with Ustadh Suhaib Webb cruising along Northern California's coastline, nourishing your soul, heart and mind. We'll chug through ancient redwood forests in a vintage steam train ride, discover the local culture of quaint, rustic towns, ponder over the remnants of a deserted Russian colony, be awed by the machinations of nature around us, invigorate our relationship with our Creator and much, much more.

WHAT: MAS Youth R.I.D.E.

WHEN: August 3rd - 5th, 2007.
Departure rom MCA at 6pm on Friday.
Return to MCA at 6pm on Sunday.

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Admission fees to sites we visit, most meals (check the FAQ for details), full transportation and lodging for the whole weekend.
